PPJ has been promoted as a loosely structured passage-making event between various points along the West Coast and French Polynesia. It imposes a minimum of rules and requirements on entrants and is focused on fleet camaraderie and safety concentrated around Puerto Vallarta, Mexico as one of it’s major jump-off points.
The Pacific Posse focuses on the BEYOND BORA BORA – and while French Polynesia is lovely (and expensive) – with only118 islands
the Pacific Posse focuses on many other routes including those sailing from Hawaii – Panama – Chile – California – Ecuador.
Our routes take you via 24+ island nations, 10,000 islands and amazing anchorages and back !
We focus on all that you will need to sail 8,000 nm to New Zealand or safely spend several Cyclone seasons in the area.
