The South Pacific Posse is a yacht rally that takes place in the South Pacific. The rally is organized by a group of experienced sailors who have sailed the South Pacific before, and it is designed to bring together a community of cruisers who are interested in exploring the region together. We do not operate on a set schedule – it is our mission to let our participants discover the South Pacific on their own schedule and in good weather conditions.
The South Pacific Posse started during the height of the Pandemic in 2021 with 22 yachts, in 2022 it grew to 38 and this will expand to over 60 yachts.
The average SPP participant will spend US 5,350 x month – so this is a very valuable email.
The South Pacific Posse operates outside the cyclone season and starts in the Eastern Pacific (Mexico, Panama, Chile ) where the participants set off to explore the islands of the South Pacific, including, French Polynesia, Cook Islands, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu, and New Caledonia, New Zealand and Australia. The rally is open to all types of ocean going vessels and it is designed to be an informative, fact based and socially connected way to explore some of the most beautiful and remote parts of the world.
Participants in the South Pacific Posse do not sail on a set schedule but have access to many peer supported digital resources and benefits including substantial discounts with maritime service providers.
This is where you come in. Yachting tourism depends on quality service providers, products and offerings. You are the black pearls which make yachting in the South Pacific possible.
And we want to work with you and establish a sustainable economic development.
